what i did to lose weight last year during the summer was i ate only 3 meals a day (no snacks), eat no fatty foods or anything sugary ,drink only water, and MOST importantly go running in the morning and evening for about an hour. i lost weight quick. hope this helps. you can lose close to 10 pounds probably if you do what i say. if you get discouraged b/c not seeing results immediatley and being in pain and hunger can get discouraging. just think of how good you'll look if you do it (think of the outcome!)

i heard that if you drink water, Cold helps your metabolism, warm helps with burning cal. and hot helps clear your system along with a healthy diet and running has been working for me. Maybe try out for soccer, those workouts are intense!
It isn't healthy to loose more than 1 or two pounds per week. Some people try the starve-approach. They lose weight and start eating again. The problem with the starve approach is: your body automatically assumes you're struggling to survive in some harsh environment and the moment you put food in your mouth it will absorb every bit of nutrients, fat, etc that it can from the food. People actually find themselves weighing more than what they started out as.
Start taking walks or biking. If it hurts, try swimming. Water is the best place for physical activity, esp if one is injured or overweight. It keeps you from having too much stress on any one part of your body.
Also, make sure you actually NEED to lose weight. I'm 19, and a lot of girls I know went through a stage (many are still in it) where they think they are "too fat" when really they are already at a healthy weight. Most people don't know this, but the female body is supposed to have 40% more fat than the male body. So you can see a guy with a flat stomach and he's perfectly healthy. A girl with a flat stomach is a different story. Celebrity figures are underweight and unhealthy. Curves are good and normal. You're pretty young to be so worried about your weight. If you're not so overweight that it's a serious threat to your health, don't worry about it.
