Does working out on a elliptical backwards do any harm to my body parts like kness etc...?

Question:

Answers:
The elliptical really doesn't stress the knees, even backwards. We have a new cross trainer that actually is programmed to have you "reverse", but only for a short time. I wouldn't advise to go in reverse for very long, more than a few minutes, as this is not a natural motion, our bodies weren't made to go in reverse for very long.
If you want to target your quads and really strengthen your legs squat down on the elliptical for 1 minute intervals, you will feel the burn in no time.
No, as a matter of fact it can work different muscles. Nothing wrong with going backwards on the elliptical machine.
Yess you can break your coolo.
It shouldn't. I hurt my knee last year and the elliptical was the only machine I could go on that didn't hurt my knees (even backwards it was fine). Backwards is very good for your thighs too.
i don't think so. i think it actually helps to go back and forth between forwards and backwards.
