How can I strengthen my weak knees?
Question:
Answers:
The main muscle that supports the knee is the quadriceps major , which is the front part of the thigh.
Sit in a chair and raise your foot out to the horizontal. Hold it for 30 seconds. If you can do that with each leg separateky, you have good strength and stamina.
Now stand up next to a table for support with one hand. Stand on each leg for 30 seconds. If you can do this, you have ruled out many problems. If you can let go of the table and maintain balance on one leg, you're even better.
Do these exercises daily for 10 days. If you do not impriove, see your friendly, neighborhood doctor.
