Sit ups/crunches?

It depends on what kind of results you're looking for. 50 - 150 every other day would probably be good for toning. (If you want to build muscle, you need to give those muscles time to repair the damage done by the exercise, meaning you need to wait a day before targeting the same muscle group again.)
i am 12 and do 20 when i wake up but thats just me
hip hop abs
i aint gon lie to you. like 2000 if you're trying to lose fat..and even then i dont think it's gonna do nothin but give you abs underneath the fat
it depends on how fast you gain muscle.
as many as your body can handle. i try to do at least 100 daily
well i am fourteen and i do 40 a day usually b4 i got to sleep
well i do 500 sit ups a day... but i dont do any crunches. so i think you should do. 250 sit upz and 250 crunches it would help.. you would see difference
Do as many as you can do. If you can do more than 30, make them harder. Try the bicycle maneuver, or opposite knee to elbow.
i'm tryin 30-40 a day..its a month now not much help...
It depends what kind of shape you are in. If i were you I'd do 100 every day for two weeks. Then, move it up to 125/day, do that for 2 weeks. And keep adding 25 every few weeks.
if you want really good results for abs i would recomend following this guys videos. they worked for me

It seems, which I've been hearing recently, that situps and crunches may not help. Many people do them incorrectly and it results in back and neck pain as well as an incorrect exercise (which may not give any results).
I was in a PE course for 4 years straight, often with two classes a day for 45 minutes each. I did crunches every single day, but did many incorrectly without being told I should stop. I didn't lose any weight, and I didn't gain any muscle.
I would suggest, since it works for me, to lay on your back and do a bicycle movement. It works your abs and legs at the same time, and doesn't put any strain on the upper back like situps/crunches would. Also, consider other exercises that bring the legs up instead of the upper torso, since they should also help with the abs.
Hope this helps,
Brandi
