Answers:
Yes Pilates will help you to burn off the fat, but with these pilates tapes I'm sure you also recieved some information on ways to improve your diet to enhance weight loss. You would be wise to do both and then you will lose weight quite rapidly and the muscle definition you will get is amazing.
I have many friends who transformed their bodies through pilates.
Whenever you feel the burn on your muscles, they are strengthened, but most of the time they do nothing to fats.
To lose weight, all you need is patience, consistency and determination. There are certain things people keep ignoring when they try to lose weight:
1) You need to change your lifestyle. People go on crash diets and lose some pounds, then they get back to their old eating habits, hence gaining more pounds, and the cycle repeats again. Junk food and soft drinks are evil, period. They are the main culprits for a big stomach. Also, eat more slowly and stop when you're full, no matter how much left there is on the plate.
2) Do cardio consistently at an intensity that totally wear you out in 30 minutes. It makes you lose weight faster. Don't underestimate inconsistency, it's the main clause of failure for those flat-ab wannabes. Make it a habit, it might seem difficult starting out, but trust me, you'll get used to it in a week.
3) Don't rush weight loss. You can only lose 2.5lbs per week at MOST. Any more and you're losing muscle as well. Don't expect visible results in a week or two. They only start to show after a month or so. Do you really think you gain all those pounds of fats in just a few weeks? Then don't expect to shed them pretty soon. As long as you persevere, you'll be rewarded.
I think it does more of strengthening muscle. It would probably burn a little fat but, not too much.
Big Pimpin says.quit being a lazy a*s fat bi*ch. If you need to lose some weight come see me and I'll work some off of ya. As a matter of fact, some bruthas like thick a*s bit*hes, so why don't you go on the stroll and make me some mutha fuc*in money? Holla!
Maybe a bit, but not enough really.
