Do i have an eating disorder?


Question:
I constantly think about food...and my weight.
its an obsession. i eat...and kind of a lot.
but no matter what i'm doing i'm thinking of ways to burn calories and when my stomacke pokes out after eating i get so depressed.
i've thrown up about 4 times but i'm deff not bulimic.

i eat so im not anorexic.do i have a disorder or just crazy?

Anorexia nervosa and Bulimia nervosa are not the only types of eating disorders. You could be suffering from Binge eating disorder, which is when a person experiences periods of uncontrolled, impulsive, or continuous eating to the point of being uncontrollably full and then experiencing a feeling of shame and self-hatred about eating. However, there is no compensatory behaviour (like purging) afterwards. You might want to be aware of some warning signs of an eating disorder. Warning signs are: preoccupation with body appearance or weight, moodiness and irritability, a reduction in concentration, anxiety or depressing thought, and guilt or hatred towards your body. If you are not careful, you COULD develop a different eating disorder like anorexia or builimia.
I used to be the exact same way, checking calories all the time and hating my body. You might find that it is just a phase and that you will grow out of it soon. To speed that process up, however, I found that working out was the best solution. I did, and still do, a lot of group exercise classes at gyms like Goodlife Fitness. With the exercise, I didn't feel guilty when I ate because I knew that my metabolism was rising, helping me burn calories anyway. Being so worried about your body can consume your life, don't let it. I'm sure you are beautiful just the way you are. Plus, think about who you are doing this for. If you're doing it for guys, you should know that all of my guy friends think that skininess is extremely unattractive. In fact, Scarlett Johanson was voted as having the best female body. She isn't a stick figure, she is a woman that embraces her curves and wears clothes that flatter her body. Feeling comfortable in your own skin is the sexiest thing out there, ask any guy or girl!!
i dont know. sorry, but how about you talk to your mom about this and see if maybe you can speak to a doctor or a therapist. they could give you some answers.

maybe you should go see a psychologist or something cuz seems to me , you have a body image issue.
You sound bulimic to me. Why don't you think you are? Puking is NOT the only symptom of bulimia. Thinking about ways to burn calories is another symptom. Get some help before it's too late. If you have to ask the question, you probably have a problem.
Well if you throw up your food because you feel guilty after eating you have an eating disorder. Being that obsessed is not healthy. You should seek help from a Dietician who can tell you how to eat and be healthy and also go to therapy about your self-esteem issues.
Your hungry and not eating the right food. Get a juicer and fire down some fresh carrot and apple juice. Bet your not hungry for awhile after that... Your body needs food not teen age junk.
ur just crazy. Just eat without thinking about it. And learn to make healtheir choices and show your body how good you feel after eating healthy. It will slowly start disliking junk food.
i think u have the early stage. i remember wen i had that stage its hard but u should get help. u might not develop anorexia or bulimia but u could develop this new eating disorder which is called excersize bulimia. i had that for some time but if uever need help or more info on it email me at katyawelty@yahoo.com
