Yes. Cardio will help lose weight from your entire body. Check with the gym's trainer about weight lifting for toning. Lunges/Squats are great for lower body, situps, etc for abs, and many different ones for arms/upper body (bench press, curls, etc). Good luck, and pace yourself!
