Hello...here are some healthy ways to gain weight, read, and perhaps print out for reference:
1.) Have meals with the right balance of proteins, carbohydrates, and the right kinds of fat (such as unsaturated and monounsaturated fats, olive oil, canola oil, pistachios, almonds and walnuts).
2.) Eat foods higher in calories, vitamins, and minerals, as opposed to higher in fat or sugar.
3.) Pack more nutritious calories in each serving. For example, you may add grated cooked eggs to mashed potatoes, ground chicken to soups and gravies, cheese in casseroles, eggs, and soups, and nonfat dried milk in soups, shakes, milk, and mashed potatoes.
4.) If you get too full too fast, try having more high-calorie foods or slices of foods as opposed to consuming the whole thing (raisins versus grapes, granola and Grape Nuts versus corn flakes, mango slices versus the whole mango).
5.) Limit drinking beverages to a half-hour before and after a meal.
6.) Drink mixed juices (apple/berry, peach/orange/banana as opposed to one juice beverages) for a higher calorie intake.
7.) With moderation, you may add in good fat sources to meals such as nuts, avocado, olives, and fatty fish (salmon and mackerel).
8.) Snack in between meals. Nuts, dried fruits, and yogurt are good options, but it's also important to find nutritious foods that you will enjoy. Have a nutritious snack before bedtime, such as a peanut butter sandwich.

if you try to gain wait take it slow because too much weight at one time is bad for you. and don't worry if your about to turn 16 your metabalism will get worse then you will slowly gain weight as you get older.stress makes people gain wait and less sleep makes people gain weight.
I'm in the exact same predicament as you are. I'm 14 going on 15 and only weight 100. I gained five pounds in one week from pure eating alone. I have (high metabolism) so it's hard for me to gain weight. I doubled my eating portions of meat and carbohydrates (rice, bread...) and ate until i can eat no more and it will work for you or practically anyone if you just gorge twice as much as you do right now. If you want to gain muscle weight (instead of fat weight) then just eat more proteins (meat,eggs...) and work out to turn the protein to muscle. You just need to eat more then the amount of nutrients you are using up. Eating will eventually make you grow taller but if you want just drink an *** load of milk to help you grow taller even faster.
first off you have high metabolism not low and second you just have to take it easy your body isn't ready for weight gain. Be happy that you are healthy and thin because someday you might be Oprah size and no one wants that not even Dr. Phil. So here's what you do to gain muscle increase your protein and work out everyday. Work a different part of your body everyday like upper body Monday and Thursday lower Tuesday and Friday. Abs everyday mix in some cardio and you will gain muscle just eat right and you may add some Whey Protein to your morning routine.
You have HIGH metabolism, not the other way round. Basically, all you need to do is to eat more calories than you give out, and scrap cardio. Do some weightlifting and consume lots of protein.
im like you... its high metabolic rate, or fast metabolism you need to exercise more often so your body would need more energy supply in the form of fat and muscle!
