If you want to build muscle you multiple reps per set.

If you are looking to tone and flatten your stomach you want long, slow, fluid motion in your crunches. That will stretch the muscle making it long and lean.

more rep= more cut(tone
stonger rep= bulk more muscle
Sets of 10 doing 12-15 each.
dont! spot toning doesint work. u have to work it all. but if u have no fat (or are fit) etc, u can do about 100 crunches/ day and you will be great!
I would say around 20 or 30 reps, and three sets. For easy workouts that tone your body try reading cosmopolitan or something. There is plenty of information out there.
