You need to be taking in 300 more calories a day than you burn inorder to gain muscle mass.
Eat Healty.
Eat 1gram of protein for 1lb of what you "Want" to weigh.

If you are trying to gain muscle you should not be cutting calories. You should consume slightly more calories than your body needs everyday. The rule of thumb for protein is 1 gram for every pound you weigh. So if you weigh 230lbs then you should get at least 230 grams of protein everyday for optimum muscle growth. Protein shakes are a great way to get protein.
