Keep lifting 3-4 days a week, but increase your running. Run for about 30 minutes at a time. If you can run the full 30 minutes, then do interval training where you start off walking for 5 minutes, run 2, walk 2, run 2, walk 2, etc. and then end with a cool down walk for 5 minutes. The length of time you are doing cardio is better for slimming down then the actual running. You can also try to lift lighter weights. Heavy weights with little reps will build bulk muscles. But lighter weights with more reps will build lean muscles. Hope this helps!
increase your cardio to 45 minutes a day. Create a 500 calorie per day deficit from what you are doing now and you'll burn a minimum of 1lb/week.
cut carbs to just twice a day, breakfast, and an hour or two before lifting. Eat lean proteins like chicken, cut out sugars, and cut down on fats. worked for me, I've burned about 20lbs far in the last 3-4 months.
I disagree with cutting weight on your lifting though. If you increase your cardio and watch what you will eat it will be very difficult to not lose muscle mass already. It will just naturally occur, which you are OK with. But to minimize it, I would actually recommend increasing weight and dropping reps. This helps counteract the fact that you'll likely lose mass anyways.
When you are done 'cutting' move back to your normal maintance/progress routine at the gym.
good luck,
Change your weight lifting to low weight, high reps. This will tone your body more while helping with losing weight.
Also, up the cardio to 30 minutes if you can, at least 3 times a week. The more the better.
Diet would help also.
