People say i'm under weight but i want to know what is supposed to be normal weight..?

Normal isn't an absolute, only relative to the people who use the word themselves. you are as normal as you think you are.
your normal weight is supposed to be like 101-111.im 5'3 and im 101 you might be okay though cause your only 14 (like me) and your metabolism hasnt slowed yet...hey at least if you dont have ur period yet u might not get it very soon thats good! it stinks...

Because of your age, 93 pounds is skinny, but not underweight. If you feel that you want to gain weight, that is your choice, but don't do it because your friends say you need to. Speak to your doctor first. As long as you're healthy, everything's fine. There is no "normal" weight. It depends on many factors.
do a fitness test, it will give you your ideal weight based on your age your height and your bone fram size...
sounds fine to me as long as you eat .....some ppl are just naturally thin...i have always been adn everyone always still watch me eat....whereas in reality i eat tons of junk...just good metabolism.most of them are just jealous anyway that they can't be naturally thin. so if you do eat, you are perfect!

There is no "normal weight" everyone is different and has a different body build. What's normal for you, you must find yourself. When you feel active, healthy, and confortable with yourself then you know your the right weight.
You are Not underweight, in fact you are a pretty good weight. Since the majority of the US is obese, some might think that you are underweight compared to them.

You can check your BMI on most health sites. There are ranges for healthy weights. I'm 5'4" and I've seen where a healthy weight can be anywhere from 120 to 140 pounds, depending on build. You may very well be underweight, so you might want to consult a doctor.
your weight is fine. its just how your built. all people are different. im 13 year old guy bout same hight as you and way 125 pounds. doctors say its normal. some people say im under and some say im fat. so if you feel under weight, then eat eat eat. if you feel right, do what ur dooing and so forth. hope this helps,

because of yoru age i would say your fine. i am 5'3'' but im 24 married mother of 2 and pregnant but when im not pregnant i fluctuate between 125-130 and thats perfect i would say between 115 and 140 for people that are 5'3'' is healthy but it all depedns on your body type and muscle and age
I think the answer lies more in your diet than in the number. While 93 lbs is small for 5'3" I would say if you're eating a well balanced diet then it could be more about you're build than anything else. The key for you is not to be obessed with weight but be more concious of health.
yea my friend was like 5'3" and she weighed about 90 pounds and the doctor labeled her anorexic. im 14 and im 5'1 and i weigh 120 and it looks normal cuz i have muscle and its not fat..so yea u should weigh like 115
your normal weight might be from 115 to 125..but your going to have to ask your doctor to be sure

Everyone's bodies are different. As long as you are eating your 3 meals (or 5 small meals) a day, that are also healthy portions, and you don't find yourself especially weak or unfit, don't worry about it!
As you progress through puberty most girls naturally gain weight as their bodies get curvier, and their busts develop. Obviously some girls develop more than others.

111-147 is what the weight charts say for a person your height. But, you are still growing and even though you are a bit underweight, you will still put on some more height and weight. As long as you are eating properly and not starving yourself or purging, you are okay.
Anywhere from 111-124 lbs. Is what my almanac says.
But that can vary. You may just be thin. Count your blessings!
ok there is no normal weight. but if you are soo skinney like annnorexac (sp) than that is very un-healthy. but if you are comfortable in your own body than you should stay the way u are. some ppl just say you need to gain weight because they are not comfortable in their own body like if they need to lose weight. now if your ribs are showing and u just like a stick than i can see were there comming from. but other than that u shouldnt gain weight

I would say you very well UNDER weight. But you should do what you feel is best for you, be sure to eat 3 meals a day.
My son is extremely skinny, and I was concerned. I took him to the Doctor who told me to make sure my son is eating 3 meals a day at the very least, and with each meal to have some thing from every food group. and then to be sure he has at least one table spoon of each item, along with a multi vitamin each morning.
I have done that for 3 years now. of course if he wants more food he can have it, but he MUST eat at least the table spoon of each item.
He does well with it these days, so as he is skinny, he is also healthy.
Thank God, knock on wood or what ever else because I dont want to have him the way he use to be, that is for sure.
You're not underweight. It's just that there are so many people that are OVERweight that they aren't used to seeing someone that's not overweight, so they assume you're underweight. As long as you aren't weak, have plenty of energy, and eat like you should, then you're fine. And PLEASE don't beef up just for every one else. I used to get told that so I ate and ate, and now at 25 I can't get the weight off. I would like to get my hands on some of the fat haters I went to school with.
