Is eating this okay?

so far, i've eaten breakfast, lunch, and have been drinking water. i calculated and found out that i consumed ABOUT 475 calories so far. for dinner i was going to eat something like salad and chicken. i asked my mom to get some. but she instead got me a kid's taco from chevy's! now she's telling me that have to eat it because she's all mad at me thinking i'm not eating...would it be okay to eat it? or should i search my fridge for something else?

Yes. Eat it. The extra calories you might save by not eating it are not worth an agravated Mom.
I think you should eat the taco, but throw in some lettuce and steam some vegetables for the side. Avoid using dips/salt/or butter on the vegetables. It just makes it more decadent and takes out the true meaning of eating the vegetables in the first place.
Try explaining to your mom that you are trying to eat healthy, You appreciate her getting it for you then look for a healthier choice in the fridge.
Eating whatever you want is okay if you do it in moderation! Steak,fish and poultry are all good(in moderation).

475 calories for lunch AND breakfast?
I usually try to eat about: 300 (B), 400 (L), 500 (D) and then snacks to make it up to around 1500-1800...in other words you should have a bare minimum of 1200 just to keep living without killing your body.

Therefore, yes the taco is fine (although you are welcome to add a salad to it) and a nice big glass of milk would help round that out.

Check out your BMI, your BMR and try to find a calculator that tells you an estimated number of calories needed (so many websites do that)...

Eat healthy, don't starve yourself, it won't help you in the long run.
Eat your taco- it won't kill you, but your calories are WAY low. A good rule of thumb for the MINIMUM number of calories your body needs just to function is your weight in lbs x10- that is just to function remember! if you are getting much less than that your metabolism is going to go in the sh*tter and you will have tons of problems from fatigue, dull skin and hair, and eventually when you start eating healthily again you are going to pack on the pounds. Slowly increase your calories with fruits, high-fiber grains and vegetables. You will feel much better.
