Can trampolines help leg muscles to look skinnier?
Question:
Answers:
Trampolining is not a muscle building exercise. Unless you did while holding very heavy weights!
It is an aerobic exercise and burns loots of calories, therefore, it is more likely you will lose weight, thus your legs will look skinnier.
If you look at world class trampoline athletes, they are not exactly what you would call 'muscly' and their legs/calves are certainly not larger in proportion to other parts of their body.
Because most trampoline athletes are also gymnasts, they do have 'very athletic bodies'. This is due to the range of training they do, including weight training.
All in all, if you are worried that trampolining will make your leg muscles look too large, there is no need to worry, this will not happen.
Believe it or not, the legs are not the most used limb when trampolining anyway. The stomach and back muscles are worked vigerously, and the 'core strength' is seriously heightened.
jumping on trampolines, logically, builds muscle.
Building muscles can make your legs look bulkier. However, some people like T-Mac and other bball stars have lean legs and calves. But there body fat is lesser than 5%. so, it depends on your goal. If your calves at present dont look skinny, it will maintain its shape + the muscle fibers that you work on it.
