How do i get that little athletic body?


Question:
i know your thinking - exercise duh! but i want that thin, yet athletic look, and right now i have a blocky mid section...very little curves what so ever and its frustrating. i am thinking about walking and starting some cardio but that will just help me tone up some. i want to lose some serious inches around my waist what would be the best exercises and diet plans (what type of foods) for me to obtain this goal? thanks a bunch!

When I went for that athletic/slim look I had to do lots of cardio twice a day 3 times a week. I ate beans and rice and oatmeal, and kept meat totally out of my system. my arms got thinner before my waist, but I kept a good bump on them , when I got down to about 7% percent body fat my waste finally thinned to wash board look.

Got to a trainer and get an approximate determination of body fat content then decide how much weight you need to lose
I had 20% fat content ,weighed 200 lbs so to get 7% I had to lose 26 lbs or weigh 174 lbs

Look at your bone structure. That thin athletic look may not be possible. Walking is better than nothing, but doesn't burn enough calories to accomplish what you want. Keep your diet balanced, no fad diets. The only thing that counts is calorie intake versus calorie outgo. Try some weight training along with your aerobics. (You will not do enough to "bulk up", but you need strength to accomplish what you want.
an atheletic shape is the sqaure shape!! you cant change your body shape.
however do 30-45 mintues of cardio on most days
do alot of ab work
and twist the waistline alll the time.
well to achieve that thin and athletic body you would need to do alot of cardio and do light weight training every other day. don't do heavy weight training cuz u might get bulky. your main focus should be on cardio and light weight training.
