Soda's have no real nutritional value, and tend to be very bad for your teeth and stomach.
The tannins in chocolate, however, have been shown to be good for your heart, (the darker the chocolate the better it is for you), Chocolate is also good for blood pressure.
As always, all things in moderation is the best way to go.

Chocolate is natural and very beneficial. I am of course referring to Dark chocolate (50-80% Cocoa) and not milk or white chocolate. Milk chocolate has alot of fat, and white isn't really chocolate at all. It is just the milk fats from pressed cacoa.
Soda...but chocolate can be bad too if you don't eat it in moderation. You can also have a soda once in a while. You don't have to fully remove "bad things" from your diet. Just watch your portions and you will be fine.
Soda by far. Mainly because if you drink a lot of it, it will start wearing away the enamel on your teeth. Plus it is loaded with tons of sugars and caffeine. Chocolate has been shown in studies to be good for you in many ways.

Chocolate can be good or bad... if it's more natural & not filled w/ refined sugar, it's better than not.
But remember, everything in moderation. (I'll drink pop/soda probably once every month or two).
Soda. Chocolate has antioxidant properties, in the right amount and right form (dark) it can be very good for you. Soda rots your teeth. Dark soda like Coke are bad for your kidneys and liver.
Sodas eat your teeth longterm, and can keep you awake nights.
Besides, milk chocolate is my favorite.

at least chocolate has some benefit to it - like the antioxidants and such, and it also puts you in a good mood. Not to mention it's solid food, so eat and it will make you less hungry.

Sodas don't have any benefit to them at all. They don't hydrate you... they are a diuretic, which means they cause your body to expel water. They are liquid so they don't make you feel less hungry. Sodas are completely EMPTY calories.
Soda is way bad for you then chocolate, while chocolate gives you dairy, and a soothing treat, pop is not good for you what so ever. It is really a useless snack. Its liquid... ever heard of juices or water? It's sugar, why don't have pull out a measuring cup and a bag of sugar and fill it to the rim... ya that's how much sugar you are having in ONE CAN!
and people say, BUT IT IS SO GOOD! ... HELLO! ever heard of a fruit salad? its so good!
Chocolate is better for you then Pop, UNLESS you drink Diet then it really changes a lot, then chocolate isn't good for ya.

Sodas by all means. You know chocolate is good for you its made from cocoa beans so that makes it a vegetable...lol

I'd say Soda is the worse for you.. because sodium isnt good for you.. with chocolate you should try going for the chocolate bars that are 200cal. but only eat half of it and save the other half for the next day or you can just go with eating "Cadbury Thins, Dairy Milk" its a 100 calories.. That you can have once a day.. :)
