Dizziness and temporary vision loss during exersize.?

Question:
I went biking the other day doing relays (this includes a warmup, then 30 second sprinting, then light aerobic for 15 minutes, then another repeat of 30 second sprinting then a cool down).

During my cool down, my vision started getting funny and I started to lose part of my vision, I felt dizzy, I felt terrible like I wanted to vomit, I had difficulty even walking. I started to feel tension in my neck muscles, and I felt like I was going to pass out. The temperature outside was about 100 F, but I drank a little water before leaving to exersize.

I have been doing relays once a week for quite a while among other exersize activities. I have never had something this extreme happen to me.

What happened to me, and how can I prevent it from ever happenning again?

Answers:
Ask a doctor or a fitness expert.

Sounds like heat exhaustion.

Here a couple of links to sites the may help you figure it out.

it sounds like you were about to faint

that happened to me too once

i felt dizzy

light headed

i wasnt really sure what was going on and i felt like i was somewere else

it took what seemed like forever to get my vision back

i think this was because io was pushing myself too had to keep up with a n exercise routine

if you want to prevent it,just listen to your body and take a break when you need to
It sounds like dehydration, but if you're sure it's not that maybe you just overdid it on that day. Certainly if it happens again, and you are absolutely sure it's not dehydration check it out with a doctor.
