I Need Help On How I Should Lift Weights During The Week?

I heard lifting 3 days of the week is good but i was wondering how should i do it, I mean should i lift Monday,Tuesday and Wednesday or should i skip a day like Moday,Wednesday and Friday giveing my muscles a rest.Please your answers would help alot.Thanks!

Yes you should leave a day, like you said monday weds friday, so your muscles can rest. But still make sure you aren't training the same muscle groups on the next workout session. Say you could do - monday - back and biceps and abs , weds - triceps and chest, friday - shoulders and traps and abs. Doing abs repeatedly is ok because they are different muscle fibers which recover faster. Hope i am of help

I do Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays leaving a day between. Now adding in Sundays and Tuesdays for legs and abs.
Mondays - Shoulders
Wednesday - back and chest
Friday - Arms

Now Sundays and Tuesdays Legs and Abs.

Dude! I've been a pro-builder from the past 2 yrs. Here's my ans. to ur qn.:

Step1- EAT. It all depends on how much u eat.I tried building for 6 months w/o givin' importance to food and had no +ve results. The more u eat the more the gains and the more FREQUENTLY u can train. Here's a formula for growth- Bodyweight(lbs.)X23 calories of nutrient dense foods everyday.

Step2: SLEEP.Its well-known that u need to get minimum 8 hrs for muscle recovery.

And now, ur ROUTINE- U will have to experiment and try which workout suits u best.For eg. I train my upper legs (quads and hams) only once in 10 days and my upper legs improved from 20inches(at the top most point) to 28inches(my waist size was 32!,found it hard to get trousers until i stopped trainin' for 4 months). So here's my 2 cents, in bodybuilding THE LESS U TRAIN, THE MORE U GAIN. Sorry for taking the round abt. manner to ans. ur qn.
Coming back to ur qn. 3 days a week should be fine as long as u make gains. If u dont see improvements every 2 weeks, then either increase ur food uptake OR cut down on ur frequency and eat.
