Answers:
Not a very sensible idea...breakfast is the most important meal of the day.it sets you up for the day. Have 3 sensible meals a day.cut out the snacks and you will lose weight. And don't forget to do about 20mins. of exercise a day and you should lose approx. 2lbs a week.
wont work.
*All you will do is slow down your metabolism, by eating only 1 meal. You need atleast 3 healthy meals. You won't be healthy, and you won't have energy throughout the day by eating only 1 meal. Starving yourself is not the answer. Even if you aren't hungry throughout the day. It's best if you eat 3 meals.*
Here are a few more tips if you want to use them if you don't already:
-Here are a few exercises to help with reducing fat, and building muslce. Jog in place, jump rope, jog, walk, swim, bike, sit ups, push ups, crunches, pilates, pull ups, swimming, leg lifts, and dancing. Make sure you do atleast and hour of Cardio.
*Drink more water, 8-10 glasses of water everyday.*
-Cut down on the carbs (there's good, and bad carbs. The bad cars are chips, sodas etc.), fats, and sugars you consume.
-Lift weights, the more muscle you have the more calories your body burns.
-If you feel like you are hungry try to have some water, but if you want food, then try to snack in between meals only have fruit and veges, apple, carrot sticks, remember try to eat an apple and banana a day.
-I suggest taking out all fizzy drinks and juices.
*I started swimming every morning about 3 weeks ago before I ate breakfast, so far I have lost about 20 pounds of fat, and have gone down 2 waist sizes. I look, and feel way better because when you do a form of cardio exercise before you eat, you are burning the stored fat (stomach, and everything else), other than burning the food you just ate. Plus swimming burns fat, and tones up your muscles. 2 In 1!*
Good luck!
no matter how much you try not to eat sweetie it won't work.
my mum's always telling me to cut down on what i eat and eat it in proportion [that might be the word].
you can still eat all the things you like but in moderation. if you're so worried about your weight.. try drinking boiled water. my friends say that helps. and try not to eat after 7 o'clock unless you do a work out or something at late night.
doing excercise should help as well. putting effort into it will help cut down. you could try eating your brunch in the morning. a salad or something light at lunch and for dinner eat a reasonable meal... just cut down on what you have on the plate. half the portion.
good luck hun. im in the same boat =) x
This is a very bad idea, its a pity at 15 years of age you are thinking like this , however dieting does not work , to be healthy you need to eat healthy, ie. a proper balanced diet inc 3 meals a day with plenty of water
Not a good idea
Hoodia Certified 100% Pure Hoodia Gordonii Diet Pills! Hoodia Gordonii for Lose Weight from Thighs, Belly, Love Handles, Face, & Even Burn Fat & Calories

Why Pure Hoodia? Well, for one there is no reason to doubt the sincerity of the wonderfully lean and fit Bushmen of the Kalahari. What they say about the capability of Hoodia is clearly factual. Their long history involving the use of Hoodia spanning thousands years and many generations not only speaks volumes but serves as illustrious proof of the real benefits of Hoodia. Then, as luck would have it, Hoodia is able to go to the heart of obesity crises. Because by comparison to the small handful of genetically related cases, the vast majority are due to overeating and food addiction. Plus, to the delight of the skeptics pure Hoodia has shown to be a natural remedy capable of controlling caloric intake better than the dangerous artificial drugs of the past.
my friend tried this and ill tell u what i told her in the same words dear, dont be so bloody thick it wont work ur going to end up ill because ur not getting enough calories into ur body and all ur going to end up doing is collapsing and fainting all over the place bieng to tired to do anything and ur going to put on wieght due to ur body holding onto ur fat stores and grabbing all the other fats that come into ur body ie ur one meal a day
Yes, that will work and yes, you'll drop the pounds like hot bricks. BUT I'll tell you something, I've done that method. I survivied on one jam sandwich and a small bowl of dry cereal a day and yes, I lost the weight, and it stayed off for a grand total of 6 weeks...
I regained every pound of the stone I lost and then some. So, I did it again and again I gained weight.
I did this for about 2 years, shrinking to 126 pounds then ballooning to 145 pounds and back again. My metabolism got so confused that it took longer and longer to lose the weight and I gained more each time. Plus I was feeling faint, arguing with my family and friends and being just generally horrible.
You're 15, so your body is starting to guage what it has to do to keep you at a healthy weight. In the wild, when facing periods of starvation when there is little food, your body changes and starts to store fats more vigorously in times of plenty. What I'm saying is, by choosing this method of weight loss, you're setting up your body to grab and keep hold of every ounce of fat you eat.
You will do what you want to in the end, despite the good advice on this site, I'm sure, and it's your right to do that.
My advice is to start a healthy low calorie diet - around 1200 calories a day and start some kind of activity you enjoy - tennis, swimming, walking. That way, your body will not feel it is starved and it will feel free to drop the calories you don't need.
Nothing worth having is easy to obtain :-)
Nope, not a good plan. Reducing calorie intake too far switches the body to starvation mode where it conserves calories and weight loss is minimised. It also switches the body to catabolic metabolism where not only fat but muscle is broken down. This may damage the heart. By all means eat a bit less, but the trick is to do a lot more!
To successfully lose weight, you must carry out
a plan to balance your caloric intake with exercise.
Ideally, dieting should be done by eating a nutritionally
balanced, low-calorie diet and increasing physical activity.
