How much protein?

Question:
How much protein should i take in to gain excessive weight? I weigh around 140. I am wanting to gain noticable weight. So i want to take in more than the usual ammount of protein. How much should i take to gain lots of weight.

Answers:
The rule of thumb is a gram and a half of protein per pound. So you would need at least 210 grams a day to really see some results. Get some whey protein powder and drink it with a glass of milk a couple times a day. That's like 70 grams right there! Remember to drink a lot of water, though, because it will dehydrate you.
100+ grams of protein and even more carbs.

Weight-lift, too. Don't gain all the weight in fat . . .besides muscle weighs more than fat. So not only would gaining a bunch of fat be harder, you would end up with a body you're unsatisfied with.
try consuming 160grams of protein which is a lot if you cant consu,e that much try a high carb and high calorie diet
