i have been doing sit ups and some crunches and i havent been getting the 2 bottom abs

i got a little but of apearing upper packs but the bottom i just cant get ... is it because my belly is fat

it is a little bit fat so how do i burn it and gain muscle in that area

Answers:
I know you don't want to hear this, but you need to cut out all:

Sugar (from Frosted Flakes to M&M's, all turn to bodyfat fairly quickly)

Fried Foods/Fats (chips, mayo/butter, fries, etc.)

White Flour (cereals, breads, pasta, tortillas, etc.)

Of course you want to eat as natural as possible with meals/snacks consisting of:

Turkey and Chicken breast
Lean beef
Salmon and Tuna (water packed if canned)
Lots of veggies
Skim/low-fat- cottage, string cheese, milk
Egg Whites
Limited amounts of almonds and fruits

The only actuall "healthy carbs" (don't mess with blood.sugar levels) are:
Brown rice
Yams
Sweet Potatoes
and plain oatmeal

Okay carbs are:
Whole-Grain organics breads/buns/wraps/pasta (all limited to single servings).

You should eat about 1,500 calories a day if you really want to burn the weight off.
You also need to eat every 2-3 hours to keep your metabolism up.
So 1,500 divided into 6 small meals/snacks is 250 calories in each one.
The emphasis should be protein (20grams each meal) and veggies, with limited carbs.

You also need to drink at least a gallon of water a day.

Also take a Centrum multi-vit / mineral with the first meal everyday.

Whey protein shakes are also a great meal replacement when mixed with low fat or skim milk. Add a scoop of no sugar instant iced coffee/mocha powder and it will taste like heaven if you followed the above diet.

You might look into a Swiss exercise ball- 10 minutes of ball work will give you a small workout and improve your core and posture.

Oh yeah, have ONE cheat meal per week (not a cheat day), it will give your mind and body a break.

That's about it. People obsessed with their bodies and fitness models basically eat this way. If you could follow it for a few weeks it gets easier, and you'll feel GREAT as all the toxins from what your currently eating will be pushed out of your body. You'd probably be ripped in a month if you followed it closely, keeping a daily food journal.

Good Luck!
do more sit-ups
maybe your not 21 yet .so they cant sell it 2 u
jackknifes
you can do crunches all day but if you have fat your not going to see your six pack so you need to burn the fat off
It is because of that fat... you should work on eating the right foods like a balaned meal everyday and work out about a hour everyday...
do more and type in google something like ' how can i lose weight on my stomach?' and see what comes up! if nothing keep trying or see someone that nos properly!!
Continuous crunches will help to tone, but they won't help to build. Just like any other muscle group your abs need increased resistance to actually build (as opposed to tone). Add a little bit of weight (increase over time) to your chest when you do crunches. Also work on leg lifts. Lie on your back, hold on to something with your arms and lift your legs (straightened) into the air and back down. Your legs should be suspended in the air at all times. Don't let them touch the floor as they come down. Keep up a constant strain on the muscles. You may also want to do some full-body exercise to burn more calories. Weight training and aerobic workout alone is hardly enough for getting that belly mass off.
cause your only working your upper abs you have to work on your lower abs, try side sit ups, and and leg lift
