Answers:
yer i think so, im sure that once ur like 21 or something, then ur'll get leaner abs!!
i had a 6 pack at the age of 13, i did hundreds of situps to get a 6 pack. you dont need to be mature, it just requires a lack of fat... do cardio, and situps, you can build muscle and burn fat at any age
that is so much bull when i was at the age of 11 i had abs to die for if its more a work out thing do more harder like jackknife sit ups ask me it works
Well, ask yourself, "When was the last time I saw a twelve year old with a six pack". From what I've observed from my friends, teammates, and family members, people can really shape their bodies around thiner latter years of puberty.

If one twelve, I doubt doing hundreds of sit ups a day would give them rock hard abs, but they would keep the person healthy and lean (not buff) as long as they are doing them correctly.
Sit-ups don't really work the ab muscles. They mainly work the hip flexor muscle (when you sit or lie down with your knees facing up and feet on the floor, these are the muscles in the "V" your body forms). If you do half sit-ups, you will work the abs more than doing full sit-ups. Your body won't be fully developed until your early to mid twenties but it does not hurt to start developing good habits now. Exercise is a good habit.
