Do Eggs, Milk, Ice Cream and Bananas make a good protein shake?

Question:
I add about three scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream, 4 raw eggs, 2-3 bananas and a glass and a half of milk. Is this pretty good for weight training?

Answers:
That combo is very high in calories, the dairy isn't the greatest and the raw egg can be dangerous. I would try a whey protein powder (you can get this at a lot of heath food stores, GNC or in the natural foods section of most grocery stores). Whey protein is very well-known in being beneficial to those seeking to build muscle mass. I would try blending one-two scoops of whey protein (depending on the recommended serving), a cup of rice or soy milk (almond milk is also a good choice), a banana and a scoop of blueberries. You can also change it up a little by trying different combos like peanut butter instead of the blueberries or carob powder (carob is almost like chocolate).
No its very fatting still.. Diary really is horrible for you. Anything that has been processed in a food plant is bad.
yea
Yes, and it sounds really good too! also, for lunches, eat lots of carbs... spaghetti, breads, anything for your body to burn. Because if it doesn't have the fat to burn, it will burn muscle.
Leave out the ice cream and use regular low fat/ sugar free vanilla yogurt (not frozen yogurt - which is nearly as bad as icecream) and ice cubes instead.
yes get rid of the ice cram, replace with plain yogurt, but also add some protein powder or dry milk - be careful with the raw eggs

I hate when people say dairy is bad for you! Get low fat/ low cal dairy and its really good for you! I would be careful about the raw eggs for fear of getting sick. My mom would never let us have raw eggs as kids. If you are worried about protein get whey protein powder and add a scoop. Its pretty cheap and a great source of protein. You may want to add yogurt or swap the ice cream for low or non fat frozen yogurt. Have fun with it!
Funny how the girls tell you to lay off the ice cream! You should if you want to look like them; but when you say "weight training" you are not specific about it being a plan to lose weight, get buff or work eight hours a day so you can challenge the Terminator; If you want to challenge the guvannu then keep the ice cream but ditch the yellow part of the eggs, it causes too much cholesterol and there's plenty of that in the ice cream. Dairy products aren't that great, healthwise, but they will help your bones, and give you earwax, and cause mucous, and give you a heart attack when you're ninety-two. But if you are attending a weight training class a couple of times a week after your accounting job so you can look good for the babes then just drink water. Or try a liver and whey shake. Oh, and, uh, the first lady to answer you says that keeping a diary is bad for you, so don't do that.
You could do worse.
