First of all you seem like you have a healthy understanding of what you need to do to get fitter and aren't just one of these people who want to lose 3 stone in a week!
You will not always lose weight when you excercise, often because of toning muscle mass you will put it on, but that is still fine as long as your body fat levels stay at a healthy level.
First of all cardio is a must. (running/swimming/cycling/etc) this will make you healthier, keep your body fat levels down and tone you up.
Strength and weight training is also important.
Use really light weights but lots of reps on your major areas (arms, chest, shoulders, etc) this will 'tone' your muscles and define them rather than building bulk. Also do a lot of squats, lunges for your legs and a lot of torso excercises (abs/obliques/etc).
And remember to eat right, four or five small to medium meals a day containing carbs, protien, and vitimins and minerals.
Yoga helps alot to tone but try searching google and looking at books. Also healthy eating can help as well as press ups and squats
eat.
Well if you exercise and eat properly then you'll never be too thin.
people have a very bad impression that when you exercise, you will get thin. well, that is not the truth. when you exercise you will become fit. since your muscles are always moving, you will lose fat, and that is why you seem to look like thin. exercise makes you fit. more exercise, more fitness.
Exercise, sit on the sofa eating pies and cakes, exercise, more cakes and pies, sleep dreaming of pies, cakes and excercise. Repeat.
You should not become too thin depending on your excercise/pie/cake ratios. I usually like to consume 1 pie and 1 cake for every ten minutes I spend thinking about how I should be doing some excercise.
Take vegetables in your diet just jog for about half an hour in the morning .Then drink lots of water.Split your food six times a day instead of three times.Don't bath after eating. You will be our next Aishwarya.Any questions mail me
For alround fitness you should do cardio exercise (the sort that gets you out of breath, such as brisk walking, jogging, cycling, swimming etc). If you really don't want to lose weight, just make sure you increase your calorie intake to compensate for the extra activity (if you don't like eating much, try a sports drink?).
To stop looking squishy and flabby, you need to strength train (weights/resistance). You won't lose much in weight, but you will have a better body shape because your muscles will be better toned and shapely. You might even find you increase your BMI if you are very un-toned, once you develop your muscle tone.
