Does anyone know why i feel alot of pain on my forarms after working my biceps?
Question:
after yesterday when i worked on my biceps i felt the worst pain ever that has been bothering since i was at the gym till now
Answers:
It's easy actually. Most people work out their biceps wrong. They do an exercise that burns out their forearm prematurely and the biceps are never truly "worked out". So they stop lifting because their forearms have failed already. In your case, you kept going and now your forearms are wrecked. Stop doing hammer curls and when you do biceps, try to work on the upper half of the lifting part and not so much the lower half which is mostly done with only your forearms. Goodluck!
PS: Other reasons for the pain are that you don't stretch your forearms, dont' wait long enough between gym sessions, or do other things that tire our your forearms.
well thats what is suppose to happen
Well not knowing what particular workout routine your doing I'd have to guess. If it is indeed your forearms then you are probably lifting too much weight and not doing the exercise correctly. Could also be your wrists. Remember to focus on keeping your wrists completely straight and lift with your biceps.
If your pain and soreness is intense you are definetly not drinking enough water and therefore you muscles remain contracted and instead of relaxing.
Also, it's important that when you are working your biceps that you use your chest and upper arm muscles verses using your wrist or flexing your wrists to take the weight. Try to relax the wrist, but keep the arm straight to without letting the weight shift towards you. Keep a firm grip and pull from the upper chest, abdoman and shoulders. If these don't help, then decrease the weight or pressure and try the above methods.
Best of luck!
