N E 1 HAVE EATING PROBLEMS?


Question:
IS THERE ANYONE THAT REFUSES TO EAT A LOT OF TYPES OF FOOD IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN A GOOD APPEARANCE.

I BEAT ANOREXIA AT 16.
I EAT MORE THAN I HAVE IN A LONG TIME. IT FEELS GOOD TO ENJOY FOOD BUT SOMETIMES I FEEL SOO GUILTY AFTERWARDS.

Answers:
Its not guilt that your feeling, its breaking the routine of not eating that makes you feel guilty. Talk to your counselor about the way that you feel. Your normal routine of not eating, you got used to. Your still in remission. You need to emphasize your feelings to your counselors or whoever got you passed the anorexia. Your on boarder of going back to it. You have not totally overcome the anorexia hence the guilt feeling of eating. Your but in your second line of your question is a key give away. You don't really enjoy food your just trying to convince others you do by saying IF FEELS GOOD TO ENJOY FOOD. Then you add the BUT. Your not done with therapy. Keep going and express your feelings to your therapists.
You will always have issues with eating...good luck!

yeah, i pretty much avoid refined foods to maintain my weight at 115; however im a sucker for ice creamm YEAAAHHHHHa oh and then i feel like a fatty afterwards but thats because i nearly went anorexic once but i came over it although i do have 2nd thoughts on what i eat ALOT but then i tell myself i NEED to eat it nd other stuff
You should continue with counseling for it. Most people won't be able to completely rid themselves from those ways of thinking alone. They creep up. Since you took the time to write that question, I think you probably know that. You need to work on your thought processes. Replace the bad thoughts with good ones. Make a conscious effort to be healthy by working out and getting all your veggies, water, protein, etc. Do some yoga to calm your mind:)
Hey eat to live don't live to eat. You have to nourish your body every day. Never feel guilty about eating. If you eat a balance meal and exercise you will be fine. Enjoy what God has put here on Earth. He would not want you to harm your self in any way. Eat what you want in moderation and enjoy with all your heart. God has brought you this far for a reason...
My whole life i have ate anything i wanted. I have never been in really serious shape but i have never been noticably fat.

I am 30 now and i am gaining serious weight. I have a noticable beer belly and i am starting to gross myself out.

I have been out of a relationship for a few months. So i cook for myself now and when i do i will eat everything i cook in one sitting.

Like i will eat a whole pizza, every chicken that came in the pack, all the meat for the tacos. Etc.

And i can not stop doing it. I love to eat that much. But i have to crack down or start working out. It really sucks.
i have eating problems!

half the time i dont want to eat, and i only eat a little a day, i dont know why. and the other half the time i indulge in food and as you said it feels good, but i feel guilty afterwards. i just got out of the long indulging phase and im at the food sickens me phase. idk why this happens to me lol. each phase lasts anywhere from one month to three months or maybe even more.
It's natural to feel a liitle bit guilty sometimes if you eat too much of the wrong thing. More so if you had an eating disorder as you once did...congratulations on beating it:-) It's okay to over indulge every now and again just don't over do it and enjoy healthy snacks in betwwen meals.
