Would u be Thinner if u dident eat for 2-3 weeks?

Im trying to get skinner before school starts. And i dont know how but would it do anythin at all if i did this? I weigh about 124 and im 12

In all honesty, it would cause you to possibly gain weight if you currently have a fast metabolism. Restriction of caloric intake causes a halt in the metabolism, which means that if you give in to your cravings (which you would, I guarantee it), anything that you will ingest will be significant to your body, and thus gaining weight. Also, you are twelve years old--You should be listening to music and eating healthy-- not restricting yourself to a crash-diet that will essentially cause you to gain the weight back amongst other health issues. If you truly want to lose weight, try vegetarianism.

thinner? sounds more like you will be anorexic.
and then, when you do start eating again, you will gain it all back plus even more.
you're at a healthy weight, so don't try to mess around with eating disorders and such. you'll only regret it in the end.
if you didn't eat for two to three weeks, you would probably be dead or close to it.

I'd say do some light exercise and watch your calorie intake (don't go lower than 1500 calories at your age since you are still growing) That's the safe way to go, anything more and you could be putting yourself at risk of health problems.
your best bet is to exercise about 30 to 40 minutes for 5 day ever4y week and also drinking tons of water
if you stop eating for 3 weeks the outcome wouldnt be so great.you will have zero energy levels and your more liekly to eat more after
Also take in less calories and stay away from salt
and i gauntee you you will lose weight in no time
sounds like a fast. u wont be able to do it if you've never fasted before. ur body will turn on u and make u binge like no other.u will wind up gaining 10 pounds. trust me and the other million ppl who have tried this.

to lose weight fast: eat lots of fruits and veggies. no sugar. only a little fat - but from healthy foods. limit on the bread group, drink skim milk.

take advantage of whatever warm weather is left and SWIM. swimming burns calories really really fast. also it tones ur body up, and builds a little muscle - so that u can burn even more calories. u might not like the idea of getting into a bathing suit if ur not comfortable with ur body.but it WILL be worth it.


also.just to let u know: not eating slows down ur metabolism. if u skip meals for more than three days the body thinks it is starving, and so it wont burn as many calories. just dont do it.
First off- you don't need to get any thinner. And secondly- EAT. Anorexia is unsafe and if it gets out of hand it can kill you. And also- before you get skinny (by not eating) you will bloat and look fatter because your body is trying to digest your own proteins. First of all, you don't need to lose weight, unless you're super short. Yes, you would be thinner, but you wouldn't be a pretty kind of thin. If you lose that much weight very fast your skin gets saggy and loose because there isn't any muscle beneath the skin to hold it taut. The best way to lose some weight before school starts is to cut out carbs and pop, drink lots of water, and try to do some exercises before you go to bed.

and if you do not eat your body will just preserve food longer so you won't end up losing any weight in the long run. so dont do it. its so bad for you
well, i guess you can say that i considered that.
im fourteen and i also
want to lose the belly fat before school starts.
so what i've been doing is
-drinking a LOT of water
-running a mile a day
-dancing :)
- sit ups and the excercises shown
in seventeen magasine, they help :)


but dont stop eating, once you dont in-take food
your body starts eating all the fat and you dont lose weight,
on the cintrary, you actually gain it.

You would be dead. That's called anorexia and it's so dangerous.
yeah, you'd be thinner, but you would probably die too.
if you dont eat for 2-3 weeks you'd be dead or barly alive. whn you start eating again you will be sick. if your trying to loose pounds then you should go into something....

basketball, gymnastics, cheerleading, baseball, volleyball, tumbling,ect.

eat heathy foods to...
carrots, cellery, brocly, ect.

drink lots of water and propel
