Is juice considered a serving of fruit?

Question:
If i have a cup of 100%, does that count as a serving of fruit? Thanks :)

Answers:
It is probably a serving of fruit, but you are better off eating the fruit itself. The cup of juice has almost no fiber, probably at least 100 calories, and 100% or not, it is full of sugar, even if it is fruit sugar your blood sugar level will still spike. With fruit however, you get fiber to control your blood sugar, stopping hunger longer. You have the satisfaction of eating. You will have less calories in a piece of fruit than a glass of juice ( by about 1/2), and it is much healthier
yes it should, it will usually promote it on the bottle
yup,sure!
Yes it does. One 4 ounce cup of juice is one serving of fruit as long as the fruit juice is 100% juice. The best is OJ. Apple, cranberry and grape
If it is indeed 100% fruit then yes it is but physicians prefer that we get our servings from solid fruits.
yup
Technically yes it does, however you have to be careful because many fruit juices are loaded with sugar to enhance the taste. Additionally, keep this in mind: a lot of the most important vitamins and minerals in fruit are most often found in the "skin", and typically when fruit juice is made the skin is left out.
Yeah the 100% does, but if you're trying to lose weight, drinking juice is NOT going to help.
