Is it true you must eat fruit first before eating anything else?

Question:

Answers:
Actually you should eat fruit on an empty stomach. Because what happens when you eat fruit first and then eat something else on top of that....the fruit sits and ferments.
No - you must drink coffee first. Then eat. (That's the rule in my house.)
I think its just the other way round. But its sometimes suggested by health specialist as fat reduction technique, so that you eat less fatty meal.
But having a fresh fruit after a meal is an age old method/tradition in the Indian subcontinent.
no.cause fruits are good for your body put on top of that should go more nutritious food or else you'll not be getting everything you need
Depends on the house, and your diet.

Fruit is usually sweet, so it is a good dessert treat. Entice kids to finish their dinner.

Some people have some early, to open the appetite supposedly.

Also has fiber so may be good to help fill up a little and eat less of other foods, for those who do get full.

If you can't resist fatty food, and have a heart condition, you get some anti-oxidants at the same time as some fat gets in the blood stream, and maybe some after as well.

For most folks, it depends on the cultural and family tradition.
