What are the most effective ab workouts?
Question:
Answers:
I do V-ups and leg lifts, they work out your lower abs as well as the other abdominal areas.
all i can say is that i think curl ups work the best. I started out by only being able to do 2 sets of 25 and now I do 300 a day. I take breaks between each hundred. They have made such a difference in the way my jeans fit. I hope this helps!
I don't mean to be rude but if I had a dollar for every time I told someone this - what you need to do is do cardio and lift weights, you will lose fat around your abs and lifting weights will naturally build the muscles in your ab. You can do all of those exercises but you're wasting your time if you're not already lean.
Do oblique and aerobic workouts such as jump roping and swimming and jogging.Or side crunches bridges where you lay down on your stomache and lift your body with your elbows and toes for sixty secounds.
Lay on your back with a ball between your knees. Your hands can either be at your sides or outward for balance. Roll to the left then up to centre drawing your knees upward then back then roll to the right. Keep repeating. Increase the weight of the ball as you get better at it.
Lay on a bench. Draw your knees slowly upward to your chest then shoot straight back level with your body. Keep repeating. You can hold on to the bench with your hands above your head.
Those two exercises are the only ones I can do without jarring my neck and they really really work.
i do the bycicle it is suposedly the number one most effective you lay on your back and you put your hands like your going to do a sit-up (behind you neck) and rotate your torsoe and bring your hands to you knees (if you have comcast and on demand go to fitness and exercise and go to abs and do espresso abs. it starts out bad but it is a REALLY good workout i love it. i am very picky about ab workouts also http://exercise.about.com/od/abs/ss/abex... << top 10 most effective
