I actually just started a diet last sunday and I've lost 8 pounds since. All I'm doing is eating a piece of fruit for breakfast, a piece of fruit for lunch, and then either tuna, chicken, salmon... (protein), a salad, or something low calorie for dinner.
I only drink water, and then as far as a workout I've been getting on the tread mill for about an hour a night. Half walking/half running.

Same way anyone is advised to lose any amount of weight:
Eat a healthy, well balanced diet. No skipping meals (in fact 4 - 6 small ones are better than 3 larger ones), no dropping calories below 1200 a day, and exercise at least 1 hour a day at least 5 days a week.
There are no magic bullets that work long term...not eating only makes it easier for you to gain weight when you begin eating again (which you would have to do to stay alive).

Assuming you are a 140 lb female, your daily caloric requirement is about 1750 calories, without exercise. There are 3500 calories in a pound of bodymass, so you would need to lose 35,000 calories worth of mass to lose 10 lbs. 14 days x 1750 = 24,500. So you see even without eating you could not lose 10 lbs of body mass in two weeks without a tremendous amount of exercise (perhaps 15-20 hours a week of HARD exercise).
However: if you eat a diet of mostly meat and veg, some fruit, nuts and seeds (Zone-Paleo), keep your calories to 1000 a day and run 200 miles (not a typo) or 14 miles a day for two weeks, you will lose 10 lbs. Of that you will lose perhaps five pounds of fat and five pounds of muscle.
I would not really recommend this. Two pounds a week is about as much as it is safe and sustainable to lose.

its never easy, you really have to dedicate yourself. the best way is to eat normal food, just less, plus excercise. eat like cereal for breakfast (dont skip it), something like a salad and a serving of mac and cheese for lunch, and for dinner something like a burger an a handful of fries, and maybe two healthy snacks. if you get a craving, take 10 deep breaths, and if you still want it, eat a small serving of it, and count it as a snack. if you notice you get really hungry, add more to a meal, dont snack. and do one big excercise thing a day, like a ten minute walk or jog, or going swimming or jumping on a trampoline for five to ten minutes. DONT QUIT
