Only three cups with the three meals, say one cup per meal.
Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%.

don't really know, but try to drink it without milk! then it tastes alot stronger and you'll drink it to fill your stomach not because you're after the sweet sweet taste! rather drink some water and eat a warm wholewheat muffin!
I cannot answer the specific "Tea" quantity question, however the human body is 70% water, NO MATTER how much you consume of any liquid (water based) the human body will be forced to excrete all excess (urination, sweat etc...)
When I diet and feel that hunger, I know my diet is working, but I drink water to fool my mind and body to thinking it's full, at least temporarily anyway until I eat, and my natural functions will make certain I get rid of the excess.
Hint: When you feel that Burn, do a few crunches or sit ups, or just tighten your stomach muscles for a few seconds, THEN drink something as stated above.
Well, I am dieting right now and I know exactly what you mean about being hunry. . . But now I am eating every 2 hours. Eat smaller meals more often and it will help you stay satisfied for longer. For breakfast (which you should always eat) eat stuff like boiled eggs or peanutbutter on whole wheat toast. Stuff like that is a stick to your ribs type of food so it will stay with you longer. Any type of protein will stick with you. For examply snack on peanuts or almonds. Or you can eat tuna fish. . . Don't try to substitute food with liquid. My doctor told me that if you THINK you're hungry drink a little bit of water and walk around for a bit. . . if you're still hungry a half an hour later then go ahead and eat. Otherwise you'd be starving yourself and if you do starve yourself whatever you eat will be stored as fat in your body because it wasn't getting what it needed before. SO, to make a long story short, drink water, wait for 30 mins & if you're still hungry then eat something small. . . Try going to
