you know its what you eat, not when you eat, and its how much you exercise, not how much you eat. make good choices for yourself. you will have better control over you diet as you get older if you start now.
you already have noticed a pattern of bad eating habits and that's the first step.
if you want to eat good you should eat mostly fruits and veggies, with fish or chicken, and very little red meat. But ya know ya still need some of that once and a while too.
Take a class or join weight watchers.
ww teaches portion control and whats good {healthy} and how much bad stuff you can eat every once and a while. no i don't work for them but its worked for allot of people some, of which i do know personally.
just be happy, and take one day at a time. every choice builds on the last decision, so choose wisely grasshopper.
Im 12 too , if your 70-0 then you have a problem i only weight 92
for one thing your parent shouldn't let you do all that eating because if the food covers your heart you will have a heart attack and that's not good at the age 12
when you feel those cravings try drinking some water or chew gum
Try eating 3 meals a day, and 3 light snacks. A snack can even be a scoop of ice cream, but just one.
I'm the same way I love food! At least at 12 you have the sense to start eating healthier, I didn't.
If you like a fruit or vegetable snack on those a lot. Popcorn's a good snack, those 100 Calorie cookies are delicious.
Also try not to eat at night. Tell yourself that you won't eat past 8 PM or so, and stick to is.
Snacking isn't bad, it can be good too. You can have 1 candy bar, and it's not going to add 10 lbs. to your body. You want to eat healthy, make healthy food choices. I love peanut butter, but I'm not going to eat the jar, so I will put it on apples or banana's. A bag of grapes will fill you up really quick and you won't have room for junk food. After your snack, don't even drink soda. Try juice, vitamin water or just water and drink lots of it.
right now your body is still trying to grow taller. You need a LOT of calories for that. Don't back off on the food, because getting taller now will make you look thinner for the rest of your life. Just try to notice if you are eating out of bordom or other emotions (get into the habit of keeping a food diary now-everything you eat, and how you felt when you ate it). Oh, and right now is a good time to try to develop healthy eating habits, especially different kinds of fruits and vegetables.

if ur naturally skinny and have a fast metabolism, u shouldnt worry
but if ur already overweight at age 12, man! if ur fat when ur young, ur usually going to be fat when ur an adult. its VERY hard to lose the weight you put on when ur young.
so. think about that.
just keep your self occupied its a bad habit i know i had it last year but i started running and got a dog and i'm fine now
