How can I drink 2.5 lbs of liquid and see no change in my weight?
Question:
Also, how can I lose 2 lbs over night? There's no way anybody sweats THAT much.
How is it possible that I can eat 2000 calories in one day and wake wake up have gained 1-3 lbs? (1 lb = 3500 calories.)
How on earth does a body accomplish these disappearing/substitution acts? It shouldn't be physically possible. Where does the weight GO? (or come from?)
Answers:
you dont have to sweat to lose weight..high metabolism or whatever lol..can cause you to burn calories therefore not gaining weight...your weight will always go up and down..by many reasons..water weight,stress,anything..your heart pumps fast when you have a high metabolism so if your dreaming or taking anything then ur going to cause ur heart to pump and well lose calories= weight.
The soda turns into pee.
ever think about how much you pee?
Yea, the soda will eventually change into pee. And if I'm right that you drank it all at once, your pee will be clear.
lol generally a body flucuates between 5lbs from day to day. Sometimes the chemical make-up of the food can cause you to gain or lose weight over night or during the day. Not to mention your body is constantly burning calories you take in. But when you work out it burns more calories at once. That's how you actually lose weight. And that's why it takes time to notice a difference, because of the 5lbs flucuation
Because of the amt of liquid you put in your body minus the output may come out to be equal, therefore there is no wt gain.
2lbs overnight...no idea unless you are bulemic or anorexic, or your scales are wrong.
Gaining wt all depends on what kinds of foods you ate, the more carbs/starchs/sweets the more wt you gain.
When you lose wt your body burns the fat into liquid and then you expell it in sweat/urine/feces. When you gain wt it is stored in your tissues. Ever seen how much fat, 1 lb is?? You would be amazed.
I think the answer can be attributed to gravity. I know I'll weigh different before I go to bed and gain/lose weight in the morning. However, sometimes after I expel my wastes, my weight doesn't change.
I don't think anyone understood your question. If you weighed 180 lbs. And then you drank 2.5lbs of liquid and then immediately you weighed yourself after drinking that, you should weigh 182.5 lbs, right? And that doesn't appear to be the case.
I have no idea.
You haven't actually gained the 1 - 3 pounds. There is a dry weight and weight after you have ate. Besides if you do any sort of activity you should be burning around 2000 calories anyway which means 0 weight gained... so in order to really gain a pound you would've had to eat 5500 calories.
You have an excretory system where the waste is secreted, if you haven't noticed after taking a dump you weigh less.
by peeing
energy can change into different forms. if you get a 3 lb book and burn into ash, where'd the rest of the weight go?? understand?? some of it can be dispersed into heat radiating off your body.
