IF I do this and that, would this be the result?? please answer...!?

Question:
I want to improve my cardio health. I've got 3 weeks to do it before school. If I ran 5-10 mins each day, would that help? Yeah, I know I have to drink a lot of water. I want to tone my leg muscles, what do I do for that?

Answers:
honestly, all you have to do is burn more calories than you eat, so if youre only gonna run for 10 min, limit what you eat and what i would suggest is running for 10 min, then walking for about 20 min at a faster pace. good luck!
Run 60 minutes 5 times a week if you want to be able to see results, not 5 minutes.
if you can only run 5-10 mintues every day, that is better than nothing at all. however, in order to strengthen your heart, and make you stronger in your cardio workouts, you should try and run at least 25-30 mintues a day. but build up to that if you aren't even close to running that long. be sure and stop if you feel faint or dizzy!
I would recommend running 20 minutes 3-4 times a week. Change the intensity throughout; do intervals 2x a week and long cardio 2x a week; add 5 minutes a week to each workout. Leg muscle takes a looong time to develop but start by doing squats; lunges, and deadlifts.
