It ok to weigh 112lbs at 13 and 5'2?

If you are thirteen and small boned you probably weigh a little more than you should.. If you are larger boned you are probably right where you should be.

The reason I said this: At thirteen you are still developing and have not your final height and weight. It is more normal for a young girl to be at a thinner weight than a woman who is older but the same height. I am just talking in generalities. Everybody is different and individual. I was not saying you should lose weight or something is wrong with you. I don't know what your build is or how young you started your period, which has a bearing on how your body has developed.

What is more important, is do you eat well? Take care of yourself and exercise? Health goes far beyond a number on a scale
It makes me so sad that children are having to worry about their weight and, no, dear, that is not too much. Go on and enjoy your life and don't worry about these things. But DO eat right and keep your weight under 130 lbs if you can.
