Are health foods a rip off?
Question:
Answers:
YES!
you mean like prepackaged advertising they are healthy snacks? yeah those are a waste
Most of the time they are! mainly because they will say low in calorie but they might still contain alot of fat. When i'm shopping in tescos i find that the vaule food for like 99p tends to be alot healthier than the £4.99 'healthy' range. The best way is to look at the lables of the food and find out whats healthy and whats not . Fruit is always healthy and not very expensive.
(tescos is a super store, the vaule range is a range of extra cheap food they make)
YES YES YES . You just need to eat untill you are satisfied small portions more often , fish and chicken fruit and veg that is all you need, never eat untill you are really full , i must admit they give you an idea of what size your portion should be .
Apart from naturally healthy foods - yes. Most products stating to be fat free are loaded with sugar and salt to make up for the taste. My motto is eat what you like but in moderation. I help out a lady who is 91 and her hubbie is 96 and they have never followed these stupid fads, they enjoy their luxuries but don't overdo it. Can't get a better example than that!
yes!
That's a bit of a broad question to answer simply, however the general answer is yes, they are a bit of a waste of time and money. This is quite a different question from is it important to eat healthily? To which of course the answer is yes!
