You can take a Meal Replacement Powder or Protein Powder in a shaker bottle in dry form and get some milk or water at school and drink it with some fruit. You can bring a protein bar or Meal replacement bar with some fruit. Also, you can make a sandwich and salad and put them lunch cooler with cooler pack or a good small ziplock bag with ice. Also check out bodyforlife.com, fitnessonline.com or Bodybuilding.com for ideas.
Trail mix or veggies, protein bars
what i would do is make a healthy sandwhich like roast beef or chicken or turkey. Go with veggies like carrots and fruit. Also choose nuts or something.
hope this helps!
carrots and light ranch dip, whole wheat bagel with low fat cream cheese, any kind of fruit...
an apple. Fruits in general? Bakery goods? A SANDWICH?
tuna or turkey on a whole wheat wrap.
Well, like someone else said, you can try trail mix or power bars...but I don't like Power Bars. I'd go with tuna and some whole wheat bread...or whole wheat saltines. Mix a can of tuna with some mayonnaise...even add some pieces of celery or broccoli...if you like.
I mean, it takes a little preparation, but it's good...and it's worth it. All you need is a little fridge pack lunch box to keep it cold.
If you don't like fish, try chicken salad.
I don't know. That's what I eat. lol.
Bon Apetit!
I'm a teacher, and I wanted something vegetarian and healthy that did not require cooking or heating to take to school for my lunches. I found a couple of flavors of humus at WalMart. I love humus, so I'm buying those (about 3 bucks per container) and pita bread. It will not require heating, I will not need a fork, and it's very healthy.
