talk to your dr. or a fitness professional to get a workout program that is right for you.
Losing weight is a simple equation: if you burn more calories than you eat, the weight will come off. Start off by estimating how many calories you burn each day using the calorie calculator http://straighthealth.com/pages/tools/ca... This will give you an idea of how many calories to eat. Healthy weight loss is 1-2 pounds per week. To lose 1 pound per week you need to create a calorie deficit (burn more than you eat) of 500 calories per day. To lose 2 pounds a week, you have to double the deficit to 1000 calories per day. You can achieve this by eating less, exercising more or a combination of both.

Just be sure you are eating a balanced diet. Leave out the trans fats. Read your labels to see what percentage of the item is from fat. If sugar, maltose, dextrose, etc. is in the first 3-5 ingredients keep it minimal.
Eat small amounts every 2-3 hours to keep your metabolism going. Lots of fruits and vegetables. Stay away from junk foods, fried foods and refined sugars. Carbohydrates are okay if they are whole grain. Simple carbs metabolize into sugar. There is some value in drinking unsweetened cranberry juice (1/4 cup to 1 glass water) daily. A total of a quart a day is good for fat flushing. Drink plenty of water (8-10 glasses a day) to keep fat from sticking. It also flushes toxins out of your system.
Eat proteins from white meats, fish, nuts, etc.
A good book is "The Fat Flush Plan" by Ann Louise Gittleman.
Good luck
