Is this a good weight?

Question:
my sister is 5'6 1/2 106 lbs

Answers:
I think shes underweight. her BMI is only 17.1. BMI below 18 are underweight. 18-23 is normal, 23-25 is overweight 25-28 is obese classI and more than 28 is obese classII. BMI is computed by: BMI=wt(in kg)/ht(in meters)^2
she is underweight i hink. is she naturally like that or is she starving herself or somethin. but i dont think its a good weight. i think she should be somewhere around 120-140.
Thats a fine weight for a woman
yes, that is a good weight, but go to the American Heart Association's website for the ideal weight for each person's age and height! Age is a key factor too!
Her Body Mass Index (BMI) is 17.11, which is underweight.

Her weight could go between about 115 and about 150; that's her target weight.
she is to little. my wife is 5'4 large frame and muscles bond. she was in the military. she had to stay between 147-155. i would think that 2 more inches of bones and muclses ur sister should be 140-160 depending on frame and mucles.
No your sister is underweight because her BMI is a 16 which the normal is usually 20-24 so she should gain at least 20 pounds to be at a healthy weight but she should gain no more than 45 pounds. To figure out you BMI you take your weight in pounds multiply it by 703 and then divide it by your height in inches and then divide it by your height in inches and it's a healthy weight if the final number you come up with if it's between 20 & 24.
