i know a really good way. cut out a picture of your favorite celebrity, athlete, or someone you look up to, like a role model and it will take your mind off of food! believe me, ive tried it before! it might sound stupid, but carry it with you everywhere you go, and it will change your eating habits! you'll think more about your own body, when you see theirs!
Remove the things that allow you to over eat.
before eating think if its healthy for you. you should always keep 1/3 of your stomach for food, 1/3 for water, and 1/3 empty. dont eat anything unnessasery.
chew slowly. drink an eight ounce glass of water before you eat anything. Use a small plate when eating. take a break in between bites. Talk to someone while eating.
I think you have to figure out why you do it. Than you can stop it. It may be as simple as eating more regularly. For some , they simply can't get their mothers voice out of their heads.
drink water before, during, and after the meal. it will act as a filler, and make you seem fuller.
CHEW GUM 3 TIMES A DAY
whenever you feel like eating grab a few a water bottles and drink until your stomach feels tight and u don't feel like eating.

measure out your portions before you start eating. For example - don't eat straight out of the bag of chips - instead, put a handful on a napkin then put the bag away!!
Also - most veggies on your plate for dinner should be about 1/2 to 1 cup and the meat should only fit in the palm of your hand.
Also - I drink a big glass of water before I start eating any meal.
If you portion your food before you eat, and don't go back for seconds!! you will lose weight for sure!
