I have just been watching qvc and Paul McKenna has been on with a new easy weight loss product, do you think?

Why not give it a go...you've nothing to lose whilst wedged into your seat.only thing that I'd worry about is rubbing of your inner thighs when you answer the door to the postman. If worried...try some vaseline. Good luck!

nope hypnotisation works on very few people - regular excercise and a balanced diet will do the trick though...go to bodybuilding.com and follow one of there extreme programs dedication is the only thing that will help!

Not sure, i guess with stuff like that you have to believe it will work. I personally dont think it works its all down to will power if you want it to work it will. like placebos etc.

I once spoke to a nutritionist, well respected in his profession.
His work included giving advice to a couple of national sporting teams
His words on weight loss and I will never forget them
" If you want to loose weight, get your head out of the trough"
Don't believe everything you see on TV, of course they are going to say it's a "revolutionary new way of life", because they are trying to sell it. Hypnosis is only a form of suggestion, personally I am skeptical, but it might be beneficial for you, but it won't suddenly change your life. There is no quick and effort free way to loose weight. You need to look at why you eat, and give into the cravings, and find ways to get round them - distraction techniques and healthier alternatives. The less you exercise the less motivated you feel, but as you do more exercise the natural endorphins in your body (which make you feel good) will start working, and you'll feel good from exercise (as well as tired).
I think you will be disappointed with the DVD, and that it will be a waste of money. Get out of the house and find somewhere nice to go for a gentle walk, breathe some fresh air - it will help you a lot better than a DVD.
I'm overweight too...most of my life...and NOTHING is easy when it comes to weight loss! I feel your pain, understand your skepticism...you don't want to build up hope and give your energy to another failed result.
Paul McKenna had a series in the UK (I'm in Ireland) that was pretty effective. --- He didn't use hypnosis for anything other than building your confidence/self esteem ---- I took on many of his rules (like a psychologist more than hypnotist) and started loosing too. They were lifestyle changes vs. a diet. Also had tips on improving your self esteem, which improves your success. I've slipped from the regime (due to mental illness), but DIDN'T GAIN any (well, not very much) weight back! Good?!

If you are ready to improve your weight problem, then you could do no better than to join a Weight Watchers class.
The hardest part of the programme is to walk through the door. You may expect to be stared at and maybe you will have a few comments, but I am sure you are used to people like that. I guarantee you will make new friends, there are many people out there who will take an interest in you and will help you. Do not forget, you will make mistakes and slip from the programme, this is when a class is invaluable.
If you feel nervous then ring your local class (phone number in the directory) the tutor will arrange to meet you outside the door and walk in with you. If I lived close to you I would help you. I have helped many people in the past.
Just the same as "rich quick" schemes do not work so too "slim quick" schemes do not work either.
Please do not be disappointed, only the truth will help you.

Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%.
Chew each morsel at least 32 times. Do not touch articles of food or the cutlery in between. This will activate ur body to generate strong signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.
Take light exercises and brisk walks (minimum 20 min duration) regularly preferably twice a day.
U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry. It is however to be noted that one cannot change the shape or size of different parts of the body.
My friend...on't buy it. If you really want to loose weight, you simply have to watch what you eat and exercise daily. You don't have to do anything extreme either. Walking is great. Walk 10 min one way turn aroung walk back do that for a few days. Then go 5 minutes longer, then 10 minutes longer. After a week, try a new route. Add in some kind of an incline. and walk a little faster. Increase your walk a liitle more every few days till you get up to an hour. Use your arms. And drink lots of water. If you do this you WILL see results. But when doing this just eat better foods. Try to stay away from snacks unless they are fruits and veggies. Stay away from fried foods.
All these new and "great" weighloss products,I think are just a croc. Really. It's the promoters job to make them sound appealling. All you have to do is walk and eat better, Be more consious of wht you put in your body. You CAN DO THAT and you don't end up waisting your money and time trying new products! Really.
Something else, if you can get a partner to walk with you. That helps a lot. It is much more motivating! Give that a try for a while and you'll see the results. Stick with it that is key. In a minth weigh yourself if you are happy with what you see keep going. If not try the product if you want. But remember this, you havce the advantage over women, men loose MUCH MUCH faster and more easily then women!
