Has anyone tried the Xenical capsule?
Question:
Answers:
I love them!
They do work, but like any weight loss method you do have to work with them.
They prevent the body absorbing about 33% of your daily fat intake. This fat comes out when you go to the loo. It's bright orange oil you poo out.
There are 2 problems. If you eat really high fat food you don't always get a choice about when that oil gets poo'ed out! So if you eat a huge bag of crisps and McDonalds you can expect to 'oil yourself' 5 minutes later. In the early days I ate 2 croissants then oilled myself in the restaurant! It was my own fault.
The second problem is that people get over confident. xenical can only take 33% of your fat intake. People get cocky and eat loads thinking 'Xenical will take care of it'. It won't. It'll only ever take 33%. If you don't watch what you eat on Xenical you can still gain weight.
Personally I love Xenical, but I did take the time to learn how to use it best for me xxx
Yes and the toilet side effects are gross! Constant wind and really bad smells! lol And they didn't work
My friends neighbour used them for a while. She went to an Indian restaurant one evening and asked for a low fat meal...about half an hour after eating...her (excuse pun) bottom half just exploded in the middle of the busy restaurant, she ran out leaving behind a trail of poo and some very embarrassed family!
I don't know anyone else who dare take them after regaling that story!
The only way to lose weight is to diet and exercise,it is a life changing decision and you have to stick to it for life because if you don't the weight piles back on and more.
I did a while ago. Because it doesn't let you absorb any fats, etc. you really can't eat anything other than healthy, healthy food. I know you may be doing this already but I found it quite hard because, even things that you might be safe eating on, say, Weight Watchers, you can't eat with these capsules because the side effects afterwards aren't pleasant (toilet-wise). I know people that got along fine with them but I didn't really like them or their side effects so stopped taking them as I figured that, if I'm going to eat healthily, I'd rather do it without the worry of any stomach upsets. Don't know if you've tried Weight Watchers yet but it really works. Good luck!
I havent taken it but i worked for the uk helpline for a while.
The main complaints were wind and orange stools as well as not losing any weight!
No but do not take one unless prescribed.
Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%.
Chew each morsel at least 32 times. Do not touch articles of food or the cutlery in between. This will activate ur body to generate strong signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.
Take light exercises and brisk walks (minimum 20 min duration) regularly preferably twice a day.
U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry. It is however to be noted that one cannot change the shape or size of different parts of the body.
