10 - 15 pounds by August 31st?

Losing that much weight by then is not the healthiest idea. If you limit your calories way too much (eg. not eating a lot), your body will act like a storehouse and keep the calories instead of burning them. According to your BMI (Body Mass Index), you're already at a healthy weight for your height.
What you may want to do though is to get in shape so you feel better about your body. Even working out for 30-40 minutes a day can help you tone up those areas of your body that you may not like that much. You also need to eat healthy food to balance it out. Try for at least 5 smaller meals throughout the day...it'll cut down on the cravings for sure.
If you do decide to lose some weight, do it SLOWLY. The faster you lose it, the easier it will be to gain it again. Aim for 1-2 pounds a week and it will stay off much easier. I'll add some websites to my sources that you can take a look at.
Thats unhealthy. I've done that before and your likely to gain it back faster than you realize. Don't take my word for it. You will see :)
I don't know if it would be possible, but it isn't a good thing to try. First of all, you don't sound like you need to lose 10 to 15 pounds. Second of all, if you only eat a bite or two each day and exercise for an hour, I think you would end up in the hospital.
What could be so important that you are willing to risk your health to lost a few pounds by August 31? Please take care of yourself and be healthy!
Yes. It's easy. I've done it. You must work out every morning before eating anything. I recommend at least an hour or burn 800 calories in as short of time as you feel comfortable.
Weight 1 hour after working out and eat a balanced meal with low fat. About 200 calories.
Then weight about 3 hours and have another meal 200 calories.
Then in about 3 hours another meal. This time 300 calories.
Last meal 200 calories 3 hours before bed and workout after your last meal and burn another 800 calories and then do not eat anything before bed. Drink lots of water.
It is not good to drop below 1100 calories for long periods, but if you really want to do it quidk you need to burn more than you eat. Your body needs about 1000 calories a day for basic function. You are eating 900, but burning 1600. So your net negative calories will be approx 1600. There are 3500 calories in a pound so you should be losing a pound about every 2 1/2 days. So about 3 or 4 pounds a week.
You should be able to hit your mark in about 2 1/2 weeks.
I am not an expert. I just am telling you what I did and it worked.
