How to gain muscle fast?

I'm 16, 6'1'', and 185 pounds... im not fat nor skinny, but i do have meat on me but what i lack is muscle.. particulary in the arms... school is starting in exactly a month and i need help.. By the time skewl starts i wanna have some good looking muscles in my arms that are visible.. currently i run about 4 miles a day and work out my abs... but i havent done alot of muscles workouts for my arms at all.. there pretty musscle-less lol! is it possible to get good looking muscles in my arms in less tahn a month.. if soo how? plz help guys or girls even lol

its plausible...depends on how dedicateduare and ur diet and workout..well first thats too much cardio in place for muscle...reduce it to no more than 4 days a weeks for 30-45 min a day...also it will take too long to explain everything but go for a complete body workout..use high volume training..like GVT(German volume training) or things like that..just type it in at yahoo orsomething..follow that training...get a good diet too..you can researchit to but a good diet is the SAIS diet..try not to get into drugs or supplements but get a multi vitamin like animal pak and maybe a good protein depending onwhat your doc says..ask him first b/c i know nothing about u but i reccomend something called myozene...taste bad but woth the gains only if you train and diet near perfect and like a madman! but follow those 2 things and you should be justfine..good luck
Just cut out the runing and hit the weights.
first if you want to build muscle fast. stop running. your body will need that energy to build muscle. you need to eat more protein. eat 30 grams of protein and 50 grams of carbs with each meal. eat 6 meals a day. eat every 3 hours.

heres a good arm workout. do this every 5 days. 4 sets and 15 reps for each exercise.
1. barbell curls
2. seated dumbell curls
3. reverse grip barbell curls
4. hammer curls
30-40 minutes before your workout take a protein shake(20 grams) with 10 grams glutamine, 10 grams of arginine, 10 grams of branch chain amino acids.
right after your work out take in about 50-80 grams of simple sugars (can of regular soda will do)with another 10 grams of glutamine and 10 grams of branched chain aminos. 15-20 minutes after that take a whey protein shake (50 grams).
right before bed take a casein protein shake(50 grams) mixed with 3 table spoons of flax seed oil. hope this helps. feel free to email me for any help.
i heard that weightlifting is not good for people who are still growing..You are only 16, try waiting till you are 22. There's a possibility that weight lifting could enhance closing of your epiphyses. Instead of gaining 5 more inches in height, you will be suppressing it. Running will tone your body, but will not make your arms look like Ah-Nold.
