What was your own motivation to lose weight?
Question:
How quickly?
What was your plan?(daily menu, sport activities)
Answers:
My kids and wife.
I did not want to be one of those fathers that die from a heart attack at 45.
I eat what I want.. Ok almost what i want.. I just follow a good basic diet but i watch how much i eat and I make sure that i do plenty of active things.
I walk, jog, bike, swim, do lunges, push ups, sit ups, pull ups and play basketball.
I try to do any of these activities no matter which ones for at least 45mins a day. sometimes i mix them up and many times I do it longer than just 45 mins but i made 45 mins the minimum.
Basketball is my favorite but a big key is stretching!! stretching really decreases body aches and decreases your chances of injuries while taking on a new work out plan. I feel way better now that I stretch all the time.
Good Luck
Oh yeah.. I lost 30lbs so far.. started out at 255 now im 225lbs. this has been 4 months now!!
my motivation is just my own dream to become healthy for the rest of my life. I lose 15 lbs in 45 days by just using herbalife products. its a meal replacement. not a drugs nor pills. I just replace two meals with this incredible products. and I lose pounds and inches in my waist line like crazy. email me if you want more info. evelyndeligero@yahoo.com
I've just started again, and the motivation was - I kid you not - the fact that it was a tight squeeze for me to fit on a theme park ride!
I think the honest answer is it has to come from inside. I've had months of my mum telling me I should do something, and it had no effect - I think it's something that has to come from inside.
I'm following the patented "eat less, move about more" diet (ie calorie counting). I'm loosing about 2-3lbs / 1kg a week.
A lot of people find it easier to not have to think about what they are eating, and instead follow a prescribed plan. If that's what's good for you, go for it. Personally, I've found that geeking it up has made it easier for me - so I've got daily calorie and fat targets, a little program on my mobile phone, and even graphs! You need to find what floats your boat, and tailor the eating plan (not the d-word) to your own motivations.
So, apart from the usual - eat more fruit & vegetables (nectarines and broccoli are the kings of my meals at the moment) I don't think I have any real advice - I'm not going to tell you to go to the gym if you find it mind-numbing, but love a good kickabout in the garden!
Ultimately, you need to make this your life, not just something that's a few weeks long. So what do you enjoy that would fulfill your needs? Do more of that!
Best of luck - I hope you do well!
Well I ate the correct amount of food. Thats it
I have been eating loafs of white bread for months now and decided it was time for a cleanse. One week into adding phsyllium daily I've lose inches and a couple of pounds. Also, I buy one candy bar a day.everyday. Never let myself get more than 8 pounds over weight.when this happens I stop buying food.
I used to hate rigorous exercises but I was also so sick with my big pot belly. Luckily a friend of mine told me this very good site that I found really helpful. It gave me great workouts and diet tips and showed me what I was doing wrong before... I am now in love with regular exercises so much, as keeping my flat stomach makes me feeling so great!

Since I started to work out I was looking for a good weight loss product. I was on a diet but I felt that I needed a little "help" so I decided to try this great product and I had fantastic results. You can check their website at

well, at one point, last summer, when i looked in the mirror i looked at myself honestly and said, this is gross and i don't want to be any heavier. i was getting less and less attractive as i gained weight, which usually happens.
so just because of that, i made an honest effort to eat healthy and exercise. i'm in so much better shape now. it's amazing how before i was just completely oblivious to how badly i was eating. plus, i never exercised.
