Has anyone heard of "Wu-Long" tea? If so does it work as a fat burner?

Question:

Answers:
I think you mean Oolong tea. And if you're not eating right and working out, it's not going to work any miracles.

Of course an Oolong tea website (not exactly an unbiased source) says this:

"Polyphenol in oolong tea is effective in controlling obesity. Specifically speaking, it activates the enzyme that is responsible for dissolving triglyceride. It has been confirmed that the continuous intake of oolong tea contributes to enhancing the function of fat metabolism and to controlling obesity."

There is a specific brand called WuLong, and here's a website about it:

Tea will quench your thirst.
Exercise will burn fat.

just eat healthy, and get some exercise.

pills, or get-thin-quick schemes will never stick...

All I know is that my tea bags are the best.

Hi there here is a little to read up for you, and yes it works. Try it you will be amazed
Maybe you mean oolong? Recently the media has published rumors that oolong tea can have fat burning potential. BUT - exercise is KNOWN to have fat burning potential.
otherwise known as oolong, it is a type of tea like green or black, with about same amount of caffeine. the caffeine speeds up metabolism a little so some people think that burns fat, but not really. it is a good antioxidant, but again, same as other teas.
I think you mean Oolong Tea. It does not help with burning fat. Try Pu-er tea. No caffeine and I've read that it will break down fats that you have consumed. I'm not too sure about stored fats though. I guess exercise is the best option.
Yes, but you'll have to drink it for a longtime. Chinese people drink it everyday with every meal.
I'm very sure you mean oolong tea. Some people believe that it just like green tea will help you burn fat. But I don't know if its true or not. I find it easier to control what I eat and do moderate sport.
Oolong tea is just a common tea served in Chinese restaurants... I don't really think it's special other than the fact that it's a tea (which means it's got antioxidants).

Why are you looking for fat burners? Lose weight the correct way by making lifestyle changes and exercising properly.
complete bullshit! haha, its just a tea!
Green tea has natural caffeine in it which helps with weight loss. It's also very healthy for you because it's filled with anti oxidants which cleanses the body. Eating healthy and exercising along with drinking 3 cups of green tea a day will give you amazing results.
All Chinese tea, including Wu-Long tea, are consumed without sugar. The reduction of sugar in your diet is the main cause of weight loss.
