How Much Weight??
Question:
Thanks<3
Answers:
Try low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein, and exercise. The foods are low caloried, and yet filling and healthy.
It is my lifestyle now. I am on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein and a hour brisk walk 5 times a week, and I have lost 31lbs/14kg and gained better health. I am now maintaining my 108lbs/49kg for more than a year, with more fruits and complex carbs.
Details such as my experience, meals, recipes, foods to buy, reading labels, walking as an exercise and to shape the body etc etc, are in my blog.

You need to know your BMR (basal metabolic rate) in order to figure this out. Your BMR is the number of calories you burn daily just by "existing" (ie. without exercise)
You can find this out at most fitness centers for a fee.
that doesnt sound like enough calories, especially with a moderate intensity exercise program. if you dont consume enough calories it will be harder to lose weight since your body goes into a "starvation mode," not to mention terribly unhealthy. the key however, is to use more calories than you consume for weight loss, just dont go overboard please.
Losing weight is a simple equation: if you burn more calories than you eat, the weight will come off. Start off by estimating how many calories you burn each day using the calorie calculator http://straighthealth.com/pages/tools/ca... This will give you an idea of how many calories to eat. Healthy weight loss is 1-2 pounds per week. To lose 1 pound per week you need to create a calorie deficit (burn more than you eat) of 500 calories per day. To lose 2 pounds a week, you have to double the deficit to 1000 calories per day. You can achieve this by eating less, exercising more or a combination of both.

It really all depends upon the exercise your doing each day. Biking, aerobics, treadmill? Each burns a different amount of calories. To get right down to the point you need to burn about 3500 calories by either exercising it away or consuming less of those calories each week to lose 1 Pound of excess fat. You can cut out many little things that really add up fast! Soda, Anything Fried, Skip the salad dressing.
The largest things with losing weight is diet, exercise, will power! Drink Water Water Water!
switch your exercise routine often so you don't suffer from burn out. Walk, tennis, the cross trainer of death, or kickboxing. Think of exercise as "your time". Take a book or some headphones to the gym and ride that nifty bike that lets you sit back and up the tension! The time flies by so much faster.
Also, coming from a nursing student and nutrition freak myself, 1200 calories is completely doable! It is not a crash diet in the making! You just have to have the will power and invision yourself as the person you truly want to be! A Stronger, healthier and more emotionally fit person in everyway!
You can easily fill your diet with nutritional and emotionally happy food that will satisfy you each day. Think Raw veggies, and fruits. Take it easy on the fruits, whole and raw is always better. Juice is bad :( sorry! To much sugar! Lean meats, chicken and fish. Treat yourself often! Bubble baths! Not Food!
you're idea is going in the correct direction.
to really boost up the health benefits and appeal of your body,
make sure your diet consists of these needs daily:
1 serving (tablespoon) any oil
2 servings low-fat dairy (varies on product, check label)
2 servings poultry/nut/beans
2 servings whole wheat starch (cereal, oatmeal, sweet potato, pasta, etc.)
2-4 servings fruit (no bananas, cherries, grapes)
unlimited servings vegetables (no potatoes, limited corn/peas)
do 50 situps and 20 pushups a night, to build healthy muscle mass.
good luck!
It depends on your age and weight.
