Teen life and weight help?
Question:
someone PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!
Answers:
aww i feel bad for you b/c i know exactly how you feel. im 14 too and i ahve alwasy been kinda chunky even tho my highest weight was 125 i am only 5'1" and even the littlest bit of weight shows up on short ppl. but when you walk that 6 miles then you should try to jog 3 miles of it and that will get your heart rate up and thats what burn calories and therefore you will lose weight. eat healthy, like fruits and veggies ( i hate veggies lol) and eat all grilled chicken and fish and no beef, pork, sausage. bacon etc. b/c that is all bad for you. and eat whole grain breads, not white bread b/c it is bad for you. dont eat fast food that is the worst thing you can eat its so greasy and fattening, and dont think for one second that one of those ppl int here care if they drop your food on the floor that they wont pick it back up and give it to you. lol, but just eat as healthy as possible and get in that 3 miles of jogging b/c that is going to do the most for you. and remember WATER IS YOUR BEST FREIND! dont drink anything but water! b/c if you do drink sodas and crap then theres no point in even dieting bc/ that soda or w/e is just going to put back all the bad stuff you burned off jogging/walking right back into your body!
do what i did; quit junk food, sweets, soda and uneccesary juices. do a little yoga on top of dat along w/ crunches and push ups.
iam the same way i have no idea how to get it off. it hurt to c girl that dont have to work at lose weigh . well if u find a way let me know k
basicaly you need to believe in yourself.
Yeah exercise is good for you but eating right is the key
avoidddd carbs! stayy away from soda. SODA IS THE WORSTTTTT. water is the best! instead of eating 3 large meals, eat 6 smallll meals throughout the day. and never ever ever eat past 8pm, that kills your metabolism and makes the food set in your stomach while you sleep. keep walking your mile, and exercsing and eat healthy. =]
I know what you mean. I am 17 yrs old and since i've started puberty i've gained about 50 lbs. I went from 115 to 165. It is terrible.
First of all make sure that your diet is full of low fat, high protein foods. Also, to burn fat you need to get your heart pumping. Try running one or two miles instead of walking 6. If there's a gym near where you live, you could go to the treadmill there. Also, if there's one you can go to, weight training can very helpful, too. Doing low weight and high reps burns fat and increases muscle endurance. They might even have a trainer or nutritionist there who could help you meet your goal. I don't know where you live, but I go to Lifetime Fitness, and if there's one near you I would highly recommend it. It isn't intimidating like some gyms because it is full of average people who are trying to get in better shape, just like you. Hope this helped and good luck
ok. i am a 13 year old boy and you know what i think. that your self esteem could rise but its all in your head. maybe it could be genes, irrespective of your exercise habits. One way is to do moderate exercise anywhere like the Y or invest in a home gym. light-Moderate weight training is a very good way to lose those extra pounds. No, i don't think pills are a good idea because of the loads of side effects. hope i helped! And by the way, the best thing for you to do is not get too worked up about it because stress is kn own to be the cause of overt weight gain!
Try brisk walking your 6 miles with low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein. The foods are low caloried, and yet filling and healthy.
It is my lifestyle now. I am on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein and a hour brisk walk 5 times a week, and I have lost 31lbs/14kg and gained better health. I am now maintaining my 108lbs/49kg for more than a year, with more fruits and complex carbs.
Details such as my experience, meals, recipes, foods to buy, reading labels, walking as an exercise and to shape the body etc etc, are in my blog.
