Are there any particular pieces of gym equipment that you would recommend for losing weight and toning thighs and stomachs. And also any stretches or excercises that would help in these areas that you could do at home?

For losing weight, toning thighs and stomach. you have to do cardio and there is a leg machine you can work out your legs. For your stomach doing crunches works good.
GYM:
Treadmill
Ellyptacal (spel?)
Bike
For legs:
Squats or Leg press
Leg Extensions/Hamstring Curls
Hip Abductors/Hip Adductors
AT HOME:
I would reccommend buying a Pillates or Yoga tape, Jump Rope, or cardio machine.
